How to read a sensor label

There are multiple components to a Kuntze sensor label, each are defined in this article.

Zirkon® sensor labels are comprised of four components:

1. Sensor group name

2. Sensor name code

3. Part Number

4. Serial Number

The age of a sensor can be determined by looking at the first letter in the serial number. The letter corresponds to the year that the sensor was manufactured. The chart below can be used as a reference to determine the year your sensor was manufactured.
