mA Out of Range

What to do if you receive a mA out of range message on the analyzer.

Typical Result:

• Most Common-  Measurement exceeds selected measuring range
• Common-   mA output settings- improper scaling

mA Out of Range
Cause: The current measured value corresponds to an output outside the 0(4)-20 mA range
Suggested remedies: Check settings

For example: measured value 5.6ppm,  mA set to 4mA=0ppm; 20mA = 5ppm

Please pay attention to the selected measuring range and mA output settings compared to the current measured value and expected min./max. concentration of the process.   

Note - The Kuntze disinfectant measuring range is selected in the instrument menu.  Available measuring ranges are . . . 

0 - 1000 µg/L

0 - 5.00 mg/L 

0 - 10.00 mg/L

0 - 20.00 mg/L

To change the selected measuring range go to . . . 

Main Menu > In/out > Analog > DIS 1 > selected measuring range.
