Follow these steps to successfully factory-reset the analyzer. The reset restores all settings to factory defaults except date and time. Activated add-ons stay activated.
Consider saving your configuration first (SD card) if you need to document or restore controller limits after service.
What the reset does
- Returns measurement, controller, relay, and output settings to factory defaults.
- Does not clear date/time.
- Does not disable licensed add-ons.
- Instrument restarts when finished.
Procedure — Krypton® DIS / DIS (Total)
- Main menu > select SYSTEM > RESET.
- Select the down arrow as indicated on the display.
- Acknowledge OK to restore the device.
- All settings are reset; the instrument restarts.
Procedure — Krypton® Multi
- Main menu > select SYSTEM > RESET.
- Select Factory Settings > OK.
- Acknowledge OK on the following prompts.
- All settings are reset; the instrument restarts.
After the reset
- Re-check measuring ranges, calibration, mA scaling, and controller limits.
- Verify operation mode (MAN / AUTO / HOLD) matches site requirements.
