Factory reset — Krypton® Multi / Krypton® DIS (Total)

Follow these steps to successfully factory-reset the analyzer. The reset restores all settings to factory defaults except date and time. Activated add-ons stay activated.

Consider saving your configuration first (SD card) if you need to document or restore controller limits after service.

What the reset does

• Returns measurement, controller, relay, and output settings to factory defaults.
• Does not clear date/time.
• Does not disable licensed add-ons.
• Instrument restarts when finished.

Procedure — Krypton® DIS / DIS (Total)

1. Main menu > select SYSTEM > RESET.
2. Select the down arrow as indicated on the display.
3. Acknowledge OK to restore the device.
4. All settings are reset; the instrument restarts.

Procedure — Krypton® Multi

1. Main menu > select SYSTEM > RESET.
2. Select Factory Settings > OK.
3. Acknowledge OK on the following prompts.
4. All settings are reset; the instrument restarts.

After the reset

• Re-check measuring ranges, calibration, mA scaling, and controller limits.
• Verify operation mode (MAN / AUTO / HOLD) matches site requirements.
