This article explains how the MODE function relates to the built-in PID controller, how temperature measurement is enabled, and how temperature compensation is configured for DIS and pH.
MODE (Built-In PID Controller)
The MODE button in the main menu refers to the built-in PID controller. The controller activates and controls dosing equipment (for example, a chemical dosing pump).
Temperature Measurement Activation
Temperature measurement is enabled in the menu path:
IN/OUT > ANALOG > TEMP
Temperature Compensation (DIS and pH)
Temperature compensation can be activated separately for DIS and pH:
Main menu > IN/OUT > ANALOG > DIS (or pH, respectively)
When compensation is active, the analyzer uses the measured temperature. If temperature measurement is not active, the analyzer uses the manual temperature value configured in the temperature menu.
